Another son for Russell Crowe

Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe's wife, singer Danielle Spencer, gave birth to the couple's second child on Friday, said Crowe's Australian manager.

Tennyson Crowe was born at Sydney's Royal North Shore hospital, weighing 3.6 kg.

"Mother, father and baby are doing extremely well," said manager Grant Vandenberg.

Crowe has a two-year-old son named Charlie.

Crowe, the star of such movies as A Beautiful Mind and Gladiator, has struggled to play down his "wild boy" reputation.

Last November he pleaded guilty to reduced misdemeanour charges for hitting a hotel clerk with a telephone and was fined $US160 and told to stay out of trouble.
